Nando’s responded to the incident with one of its trademark poster-style ads, playing on its banned ad. It also took the opportunity to deny responsibility for starting the fire.
“Sorry SABC. We know how much you hate fire starters.” So says Nando’s in the fast food chain’s new poster ad after the SABC’s Isidingo set burnt down in a fiery blaze which raged out of control for longer than three hours late on Wednesday.
