Shugasmakx teamed up with veteran Ringo Mahlingozi and Reggae star SFS for a positive song that talks about Africans loving one another, ‘Uthando Novuyo’. After weeks of doing rounds in the airwaves, the trio decided to shoot a music video for their exciting collaboration and MIO is proud to be the first to bring this to you.
In 2008 South Africa was hit by widespread xenophobia attacks. In this video, Shugasmakx goes back to Alexander township, where it all began and spreads a message of love, peace, joy and African Unity.
